Location: The foyer of the ALGO conference venue, alongside the registration area, as a stand-up reception.

Banquet Dinner

Tuesday, 5th September
Tickets: Open to registered participants of ALGO, ESA, IPEC, and ALGOCLOUD. Additional tickets available.
Location: Walking distance from the ALGO venue, a formal dinner in the domed hall of Natural History Museum (NHM) at Maria-Theresien square.

Unique opportunity to indulge yourself in one of the most important museums in the world. The formal dinner under the dome of the “Cathedral of Science”, in the heart of the Natural History Museum Vienna, should contribute to lively discussions about extraordinary décor of the main dome and to tickling of your taste buds.

Heurigen Dinner

Thursday, 7th September
Tickets: Open to registered participants of ALGO, IPEC, WAOA, ALGOSENSORS, and ATMOS. Additional tickets available.
Location: The bus shuttles provided. Departures from the ALGO venue to one of the typical Viennese “heuriger” or wine tavern, Heuriger Werner Welser.

Experience the legendary comfortable atmosphere of laughter and fun in a typical Viennese heurigen, which is not just the tavern itself, but also the wine from the current vintage. Pay the tribute to Carmina Burana´s, “In Taberna Quando Sumus”, as part of an academic tradition. The scholarly spirit of ALGO 2017 can be extended to the warm summer night in a shaded garden, under the grape wines, which have been in the family of Werner Welser for 250 years. In case of rain indoor seating provided.
